Well, I'm feeling a bit better from a recent bout with bronchitis - at least the room's not spinning quite so fast as I sit at my computer.
Today I'm in Montana with author Tricia Goyer. Okay, I'm not actually in Montana, but am appearing on Tricia's great blog, GENERATION NEXT PARENTING.
Tricia Goyer was named Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference "Writer of the Year" in 2003. Tricia was a finalist for the Gold Medallion Book Award and she also won ACFW's "Book of the Year" for Long Historial Romance in 2005 AND in 2006. She has written hundreds of articles, Bible Study notes, and both fiction and non-fiction books.
Her most recent book release is called, A Valley of Betrayal - Book 1 in the Chronicles of the Spanish Civil War series. Here's the book description:
For reasons beyond her control, Sophie fi nds herself alone in the wartorn Spanish countryside. What was once a thriving paradise has become a battleground for fascist soldiers and Spanish patriots. She is caught up in the escalating events when the route to safety is blocked and fighting surrounds her.
On her darkest night, Sophie takes refuge with a brigade of international compatriots. Among these volunteers, she pledges to make the plight of the Spanish people known around the world through the power of art.
Other titles by Tricia include:
Arms of Deliverance
Dawn of a Thousand Nights
Night Song
From Dust and Ashes
Life Interrupted
Generation NeXt
(Tricia's a very . . .prolific writer. She's amazing, actually. Check out her blog for more information about her books. She's a neat lady to get to know!)
