High School Musical
Okay, so I live in a bit of a cultural hiccup. I rely on my e-mail for the Seattle Times and Netflix for all my television needs. So it doesn't surprise me that a couple days ago I discovered High School Musical. Not the second one, the FIRST one.
AND I TOTALLY LOVE IT!! Great music, great dancing, sweet love story (only one chaste kiss on the cheek). Yep, I'm hooked. And If I were twenty years younger I'd definitely be setting my sights on cutie pie Zac Efron. Girls, he's THE BOMB. Like Totally (former 80's kid, what can I say?)
So for those of you out there living in a cultural hiccup, looking for ways to reach that schmaltzy boy-meets-girl musicale within, check out this great, family friendly movie.

Yes, you found a winner! It's about time some good, wholesome, fun
musicals were made for my kids' generation (that I can totally enjoy with
them!) Not only have I seen the first one going on 20 times (including the
sing-a-long version, the first weekend it was aired I saw 3 different
versions!) But the 2nd one is great too! We had my 11 year old daughter's
birthday party that night of the premiere and had a sleepover with 13 kids
and a big screen with projection (think floor to ceiling screen -
literally!) It was awesome!!! Congratualtions on finding a true winner!!!
You might want to rethink that and only give it 4 stars...cause the sequel
totally ROCKS! So much better than the first one...in one mom's humble
opinion:-)
