Facing the GiantsFacing the Giants (Widescreen)

I am not a football fan. At all. And while this movie portrays the life of a football coach, a football team, and football games, this movie is not about football.

Facing the Giants is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Not by Hollywood standards probably, but my family and I truly enjoyed it. It's funny, touching, encouraging, and inspiring.

The theme? Nothing is impossible for God. The message? Nothing is impossible for God. The plot? NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE for God.

It's refreshing to see a Christian based movie that's chock full of integrity, clean humor, and real-life issues. It's Scripturally sound with a fabulous script. Kudos to Alex Kendrick who wrote, directed, produced, and starred in Facing the Giants.

My suggestion: Save yourself some money and go buy it. Otherwise you'll just end up renting it over and over.

My wife and I bought this movie and probably watch it at least once a week. As a soccer coach for my oldest daughter's team, I used the message in this film to inspire our team. We put GOD first and play to honor him with our actions and attitudes. It works! We are one of the only teams in our league who take a knee before every game and give our lord thanks and praise. God has blessed this team with two division 1 championships and one tournament championship. If you put God first in your life and leave whatever happens up to him, he will truely bless you.
