Review of The Rescue, by Nicholas Sparks
I had fun reading The Rescue, partly because I was trapped in a Chicago airport at the time, but also because I'm a sucker for all things sweet and sappy. This is a predictable love story complete with the angst-ridden protagonist and a misunderstood, down-on-her-luck single mother. This book is primarily mind candy. Since I have an incurable sweet tooth, I liked it and give it 2 1/2 stars.
